First it was to be the Handball Arena; then late last year, someone thought up the name Copper Box, which is how it was known during the Games. After the Olympics, with a view to the future, it was re-named the Multi Use Arena.
But now, it seems there’s to be an about-turn: the Olympic Park venue that hosted handball, goalball and a bit of fencing is, after all, going to be referred to officially as the Copper Box.
