London 2012 Olympic Stadium Detail 1 - March 2010
Had a ride around the Olympic site on the Internal Bus, travelling from the North End of the Park to the South, and the route goes right around the Stadium. And it's now at it's tallest height with the Lights up, and it was good to get close and capture some detail. The Sun Showed it's face too.

Inside the Aquatics Centre Roof
Detail of the Aquatics Centre roof beams before the cladding is finished.
I can only asume that's a security check box inside the roof. Or it could be an entry or egress point for the roof.

The world may be coming to East London in 2012, but the world is already represented and residing in Hackney, East London.
With the Olympics arriving on their doorstep, BBC World Service will be following the experiences of residents living in one inner city housing estate as they contemplate what the games mean to them and their future.
In this new documentary Great Expectations, BBC World Service will be meeting residents of the estate, whose backgrounds span different corners of the world from Hackney, to amongst others: Jamaica, Turkey, Algeria, Senegal and India.
