On Monday 20th December (20/12) the 2012 Olympic Stadium floodlights were turned on for the first time.
Taken from the roof of Space Studios, Dace road, Fish Island, Bow.
I helped tell the story of the Greatest Show on earth, and will continue into the Legacy post 2012.

This is to witness the first (Publicly Viewed) switching on of the London 2012 Olympic Stadium Lights.
So If you are around Stratford or The London 2012 Olympic Park on *Censored* (I recommend the ViewTube on the Greenway) you'll be able to see them too. I will be in the Stadium, Camera at the ready.

All the Internal roads are gritted and ploughed so works can continue, it's just the ground workers who are struggling today.
Contractors from Kent & Essex are also finding it hard to get in today.
